Keith Hills Golf Club & Learning Academy

Keith Hills Golf Club, a 27-hole facility owned and operated by Campbell University, has been a cornerstone of golf excellence since 1974. The original 18-hole course, designed by Ellis Maples, features tree-lined doglegs nestled within the Keith Hills community along the scenic Cape Fear River. In 2001, Dan Maples added the White 9, offering a more open, links-style experience with strategic forced carries. These 27 holes serve as a premier training ground for the PGA Golf Management students and Campbell Men’s & Women’s Golf Teams.

PGA Golf Management Practice Range

Keith Hills boasts a 32-acre, L-shaped practice range, with a dedicated section for PGA Golf Management students and Campbell’s golf teams. The range features a 100-yard-long grass teeing area, a pitching green with bunkers, and a putting green with additional bunkers—creating a comprehensive training environment. Students have access to unlimited instruction from PGA faculty to refine their skills, making use of two mobile Trackman units that also aid in player development.

PGA Golf Management On-Campus Learning Center

Opened in summer 2022, the PGA Golf Management Learning Center is just a two-minute walk from Bob Barker Hall, home to first- and second-year PGM students. The facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including a Trackman simulator, Uneekor simulator, WellPutt’s Big Tilt movable putting platform, custom WellPutt putting mats, and a fully outfitted club repair studio. Part of the Uneekor launch monitor system includes a Balance Optix ground forces mat and AI-based instruction via video analysis.

A dedicated classroom and lounge provide additional resources to the space. Teaching and coaching classes take full advantage of these tools, alongside portable technologies like SAM Putt Lab and Uneekor’s Eye Mini launch monitor.

Also in our on-campus learning center is a dedicated club repair room that our students have supervised access to for club regripping, lie and loft changes, and other advanced technical club alterations.
