Admissions

Once your application has been received, applicants will be notified within 5 business days if your application is ready for review or missing any materials. Once ALL application materials have been received, the Graduate Admissions Committee will make appropriate reviews. Applicants are notified typically within 10 business days of a completed application, whether or not admission has been granted. The institution reserves the right to refuse admission to any applicant.

International applicants will need to allow for additional time due to the International Admissions Office’s admission process.

Students receive an email from the Assistant Director with their admission letter. Then within the next week they receive a packet of information and a hard copy of their letter in the mail.

There is an application processing fee, but no university application fee.

There is an additional $75 application fee for international applicants.

Applicants applying by the Preferred Application Deadline may email the Assistant Director at mba@campbell.edu to request a waiver for the application processing fee. The email should include a screenshot of the “Submit Application” tab showing the application is complete and ready for submission. Applicants must request an application fee waiver prior to submitting their application; we are unable to provide refunds.

 

We do not have a preference of one test over the other.

We accept GMAT/GRE scores that are no more than 5 years old.

Applicants meeting certain work experience and education requirements may be considered for a GMAT/GRE Waiver. View the GMAT/GRE Waiver Eligibility Requirements and Application Form

Please contact the Office of Financial Aid regarding questions about financial aid. The Lundy-Fetterman School of Business does not offer scholarships for graduate students at this time. 

 

Students enrolled in the 4+1 MBA program must maintain 12 undergraduate credit hours (per semester) during the 4th year to maintain Campbell University scholarships and loans designated for undergraduates. During the 5th year, students will be considered graduate students and no longer eligible for undergraduate scholarships or loans.

MBA Program

We operate on a rolling admission schedule, which means the Admissions Committee evaluates applications whenever they are completed. Applications are accepted until one week (5 business days) before the start date of the semester/term for which you are applying.

International applicants should apply at least six weeks prior to the start date.

If your application is not complete by the start date of the term for which you are applying your application may be rolled to the next term. View the upcoming admission and start dates here.

For 4+1 MBA students, it is recommended that you have your application completed by July 1 for Fall or November 1 for Spring admission.

We currently have six starts dates since our program is based on 8-week terms. The start dates are: January, March, late April/early May, June, August, and October.

International students must begin in January, late April/May, or August due to federal regulations.

Yes. You must have at least 3 credit hours of study in each of the following topics: Accounting, Economics, and Statistics.

Applicants that have not met these requirements may still be admitted under a provisional acceptance, and are permitted to begin taking courses, but must complete the prerequisite requirements by the deadlines stated in the program admission acceptance letter.

We accept up to 6 credit hours from other MBA program coursework. This generally equates to two courses.

Yes, we allow students to take up to three MBA courses in the Professional Development Program.

Yes. You can earn your entire MBA online. Students may also take a combination of online and on campus/seated classes.

For students who are interested in a more field-specific MBA, we offer elective focus areas in Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Financial Services, Healthcare Management, Leadership & Management, and Marketing.

Our MBA program classes are offered at the Main Campus in Buies Creek and at the Raleigh Campus in the heart of Downtown Raleigh . We also offer an online MBA program.

The Campbell MBA can be completed in as little as one calendar year with two years of work experience. However, those who prefer a less accelerated timeframe have up to 5 years to complete the program. The typical time to complete is 18-24 months.

For our Dual Degree students, the MBA can typically be completed concurrently with dual degree programs.

The MBA program is 37 credit hours.

School of Business graduate level courses are assessed per credit hour tuition and fixed rate general fees based on the published Tuition & Fee Schedules. This rate applies to students who are in-state or out-of-state; attend online or traditional classes; 4+1 MBA* (5th year); Dual-Degree Programs**; and Professional Development Program.

*4+1 MBA Program:  Students enrolled in the 4+1 MBA program pay the undergraduate tuition rate during their fourth (4th) year for all courses. In the fifth (5th) year, students will pay the MBA tuition rate for their graduate level courses and the published main campus undergraduate rate for any undergraduate courses.

MTWM Program

The MTWM Program can only be started in August of each year.

Typically, we do not accept any transfer credits for the MTWM Program. The MTMW curriculum is so unique it is difficult to transfer credits from other programs.

Currently, we do not allow students to take classes if they are not enrolled in the MTWM program.

Yes. Beginning in Fall 2022, the MTWM program is offered in multiple formats. The program can be completed fully online or at the Raleigh Campus in downtown Raleigh.

Students must select which campus location they plan to enroll in.

Our MTWM program classes are offered at the Raleigh Campus in downtown Raleigh. We also offer an Online MTWM program beginning Fall 2022.

The MTWM program is 39 credit hours.

MAcc Program

Yes. Students must have twenty one (21) hours of undergraduate accounting courses comprised of the following: six (6) hours of intermediate accounting and three (3) hours each of taxation, business law, audit, cost and statistics. This requirement must be met by completing and passing undergraduate courses in each of the subject areas. Such courses may be completed at any accredited college or university.

In addition, student must have three (3) hours each in economics and corporate finance. Applicants that have not meet this requirement, may still be admitted under a provisional acceptance and are permitted to begin taking courses in the MAcc program.  However, the prerequisites course must be completed prior December 31st of the year they begin the program.
