Advice for first-year students: Sometimes just going to an event is a huge accomplishment – treat yourself with grace.

Interesting fact: I like classic cars, cooking, sewing, & outdoor home projects. I used to be an Army infantry medic. I’ve been a fabricator at an automotive performance shop that specialized in modern engine & turbo swaps.

Advice for first-year students: Be. Yourself. At this season in life you’re really trying to figure out who you are and who you want to be now that you’re sort of on your own. Stay true to what you believe in, what you enjoy, and trust your gut!

Advice for first-year students: You can do it! It all seems impossible at first but you will get through it and it does get a whole lot easier.
