We believe that the best leaders instill confidence in others and guide them as they move toward personal growth and goals. Advice to your first-year self: One piece of advice I would give to myself would be to try new things with an open mind. Over the past few years, I’ve tried a few things that I went into that I thought I was going to hate but I stayed open-minded and loved it.

First-year Advice: A piece of advice I would give my first-year self is to actually learn how to study correctly. Many college courses require you to retain knowledge both later in the semester and in future courses. Cramming the night before an exam may have worked in high school and may occasionally work here, but it will not help in the long run.
